Special Marine Warning issued June 13 at 12:40PM EDT until June 13 at 1:45PM EDT by NWS Tallahassee FL
For the following areas...
Coastal waters from Suwannee River to Keaton Beach out 20 NM...
At 1239 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts
were located along a line extending from 24 nm north of Suwannee
River to 32 nm east of Marker 24 Barge to 8 nm east of Buckeye Reef
to 19 nm east of V Tower, moving northwest at 15 knots.
HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots...suddenly higher
waves...frequent lightning...and heavy downpours.
Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats and damage
vessels. Make sure all on board are in a secure location
and wearing life jackets.
