Special Weather Statement issued June 5 at 2:42PM EDT by NWS Tallahassee FL

At 242 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Horseshoe Point, or 13 miles southeast of Steinhatchee, moving
northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Horseshoe Point, Horseshoe Beach, and Shired Island.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
