It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of former Mayor John J. Dindak at the age of 97.
By order of the Mayor, all flags at the Borough Building have been lowered to half-staff in his honor.
Mayor Dindak devoted over 53 years of his life to serving our community, both as a council member and as Mayor. His unwavering dedication, leadership, and vision helped shape a stronger, more unified community. He leaves behind a legacy defined by integrity, compassion, and tireless public service.
Mayor Dindak will be deeply missed by all who knew him—within our community and far beyond. His influence will be felt for generations to come, and his memory will remain forever in our hearts.
Rest in peace, Mayor Dindak. You will never be forgotten.
