Special Marine Warning issued May 21 at 6:50PM EDT until May 21 at 7:30PM EDT by NWS Tallahassee FL
For the following areas...
Coastal Waters From Ochlockonee River to Apalachicola FL out to 20
Nm...
Coastal waters from Suwannee River to Keaton Beach out 20 NM...
Waters from Suwannee River to Apalachicola FL from 20 to 60 NM...
At 650 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near K Tower to 21 nm east of Buckeye Reef, moving
southeast at 15 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots...suddenly higher
waves...frequent lightning...and heavy downpours. Make sure
all on board are wearing life jackets.
Locations impacted include...
V Tower, Buckeye Reef, Horseshoe Beach, and K Tower.
Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
