Description
Flash Flood Warning issued May 14 at 5:58PM EDT until May 14 at 8:30PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 558 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.3 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.5 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Pittsburgh, Mount Lebanon, Moon Township, Franklin Park, Upper St.
Clair, Scott Township, Robinson Township, Cecil-Bishop, Carnegie,
Kennedy Township, Stowe Township, McKees Rocks, Crafton,
Coraopolis, Bridgeville, Avalon, Sewickley, Ingram, Emsworth and
Ben Avon.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
