Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued May 5 at 5:49PM EDT until May 5 at 6:15PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 549 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Bridgeville,
or near Mount Lebanon, moving north at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Mount Lebanon, Bethel Park, Ross Township, Upper St.
Clair, Scott Township, Whitehall, Robinson Township, Cecil-Bishop,
Dormont, Bellevue, Castle Shannon, Carnegie, Kennedy Township,
Stowe Township, McKees Rocks, Crafton, Bridgeville, Avalon and
Green Tree.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
