Description
Abbottstown Borough would like to recognize one of our residents, Sandy Myers.

Sandy has been a wonderful part of our community for many years. She was Chair of the Zoning Hearing Board and worked in several positions at the voting polls, including Judge of Elections. Sandy has always put the community first. She was part of the Square Beautification Project and helped repair the blue sign marker outside the Borough Office. Sandy was previously awarded the Key to the Borough Award by Mayor Dan Watkins.

Over the years, Sandy has been safeguarding funds collected to start having Community Picnics at the Abbottstown Park. Now that we are improving the Park, Sandy has donated the nearly $1,300 collected to the Borough to move forward with these events.

Sandy Myers is a true treasure to our community. She always puts people first and is an example of selfless leadership for the rest of us. Please be sure to thank Sandy if you see her or her husband Don out and about.

Good people make a good community. The Myers family makes Abbottstown a good community and we are grateful to have them.

Thank you, Sandy and Don Myers.
