At this time, West Penn Power is experiencing an issue on its system that is impacting the power feed into Tarentum. West Penn Power has provided an update on its estimated restoration time. The updated timeframe is between 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. As a reminder, while Tarentum Borough operates its own electric distribution system, our power supply comes through a connection with West Penn Power. This means our local power cannot be restored until West Penn Power resolves the issue on their end.
