Description
Currently, West Penn Power is experiencing an outage on its system, which is impacting the feed into Tarentum. As a result, parts of our Borough are without power.
We want to clarify that while Tarentum manages its own electric lines and infrastructure, we must wait for West Penn Power to investigate and repair the issue before service can be restored.
There is no estimated restoration time at this time, but West Penn Power is aware of the situation and has crews responding.
We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as soon as more information becomes available. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
