Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued April 19 at 5:57PM EDT until April 19 at 6:15PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 557 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over West Newton,
or 9 miles south of McKeesport, moving east at 60 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

Greensburg, Jeannette, Latrobe, Jefferson Hills, Monessen,
Clairton, Donora, Mount Pleasant, Monongahela, Irwin,
McChesneytown-Loyalhanna, Manor, Youngwood, West Newton, Lawson
Heights, New Stanton, North Belle Vernon, Wickerham Manor-Fisher,
Elizabeth and Calumet-Norvelt.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
