Frost Advisory issued April 16 at 3:38AM EDT until April 17 at 9:00AM EDT by NWS State College PA

* WHAT...Temperatures mainly in the low to mid 30s, but as low as 30
degrees in some rural valleys, will result in frost formation.

* WHERE...Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon,
and York Counties.

* WHEN...From 3 AM to 9 AM EDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive
outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Although areas to the north will see slightly
colder temperatures and similar or greater coverage of Frost early
Thursday morning, the official growing season in places like
Huntingdon, Newport, Lewistown, Selinsgrove and Lewisburg won't
begin until Monday, April 21.

Those with agricultural interests should protect sensitive
vegetation.

Near-ground freezing temperatures could kill uncovered sensitive
outdoor vegetation.
