PennDOT Line Painting in York County April 14th

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a districtwide line painting project is expected to begin Monday, April 14. This work includes the application of white and yellow pavement lines on various routes and ramps in the eight-county PennDOT District 8 region consisting of Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry and York counties.
Weather permitting work will begin Monday, April 14. The contractor will work during daylight hours beginning at locations in York County and then Lebanon County.
Routes in York County include Interstate 83 (including ramps), Route 15, Route 24, Route 30 (including ramps), Route 74, Route 94, Route 114, Route 116, Route 124, Route177, Route 181, Route 182, Route 194, Route 214, Route 216, Route 234, Route 238, Route 262, Route 297, Route 372, Route 382, Route 392, Route 425, Route 462, Route 516, Route 616, Route 624, Route 851, Route 921, and Route 4048.
This includes in Lebanon County, Interstate 78, Interstate 81, Route 22, Route 322, and Route 422.
This will be a mobile operation. Motorists should be alert and give line painting vehicles plenty of room to operate. They should avoid driving over freshly painted lines.
Once temperatures become consistently warmer, line painting operations will move to nighttime hours.
