Special Weather Statement issued April 5 at 10:22PM EDT by NWS State College PA

At 1021 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Railroad, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Dallastown, Brogue, East Prospect, Windsor, Peach Bottom, Red Lion,
Fawn Grove, Glenville, Cross Roads, Holtwood, Loganville, Sunnyburn,
Shrewsbury, Glen Rock, Susquehanna Trails, Railroad, Washington Boro,
Stewartstown, Yoe, and Winterstown.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
