Special Weather Statement issued April 5 at 10:03PM EDT by NWS State College PA

At 1001 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Manchester, moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Fawn Grove, Winterstown, Glenville, Cross Roads, Railroad, Felton,
Shrewsbury, Glen Rock, Stewartstown, and Red Lion.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
