Description
To help the DWG Shade Tree Committee celebrate Arbor Day by planting 10 new trees in our Borough.
WHEN: Saturday April 12th (Rain or shine) Time /Place: Meet 9:00 AM at Borough Hall
WHAT: a formal Arbor Day proclamation will be read by our Mayor Larry Freshcorn declaring 4/12/25 to be Arbor Day in DWG followed by a demonstration tree planting.
Please bring Shovels, Gloves, Rakes and Enthusiasm
We expect that all the trees will be in the ground by 12 PM.
At 12PM Susan Cooper of and at the Village Farmer has agreed to provide a hot dog and a slice of pie to honor the Volunteers that make this possible.
