Flood Watch issued April 4 at 4:28AM EDT until April 6 at 8:00AM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of east central Ohio, including the following
areas, Belmont, Carroll, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Jefferson
OH, Monroe, Muskingum, Noble and Tuscarawas, Pennsylvania,
including the following areas, Allegheny, Fayette, Greene, Higher
Elevations of Fayette, Washington and Westmoreland, and West
Virginia, including the following areas, Brooke, Hancock, Marion,
Marshall, Monongalia, Ohio, Ridges of Eastern Monongalia and
Northwestern Preston and Wetzel.
* WHEN...Through Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Periodic waves of heavy rainfall are expected through Sunday.
The potential for flooding is expected to increase this
weekend.
