Description
There is an upcoming temporary water service interruption due to a scheduled infrastructure improvement project by a business on 6th Avenue.
Water will be shut off on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, from approximately 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM to the business, their plumbers, and our Public Works Department to complete necessary changes to the water system. This outage will affect businesses located on 6th Avenue from Corbet Street to Lock Street.
Please note that work will begin on Monday, April 7, 2025, but water service will remain active throughout that day. The shutdown will occur only during the designated hours on April 8.
We understand that water service is vital to your daily operations and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We encourage you to make any necessary preparations in advance of the scheduled outage. Additionally, letters regarding this interruption are being sent out in the mail to affected businesses today.
