Winter Storm Warning issued February 16 at 9:37AM EST until February 17 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Cleveland OH
* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations between 4 and 8
inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE...Crawford, Northern Erie, and Southern Erie Counties.
* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4
mile due to falling and blowing snow. Travel could be difficult.
The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Moderate to heavy snow will continue to
rapidly expand eastward this morning with snowfall rates of up to
1 inch per hour at times. The snow will continue this afternoon
and into tonight with visibilities falling to one quarter of a
mile at times in falling and blowing snow as winds increase.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
