High Wind Watch issued February 15 at 2:57AM EST until February 17 at 6:00PM EST by NWS Mount Holly NJ

* WHAT...West winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph possible.

* WHERE...Carbon and Monroe Counties.

* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines.
Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wet soils combined with the high winds could
result in extensive tree damage. The strong winds will usher in
much colder air, with temperatures in the 10s and 20s and wind
chills in the single digits. Potential for power outages combined
with the cold could exacerbate the impacts of this high wind event.

Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates.

Fasten loose objects or shelter objects in a safe location prior to
the onset of winds.
