Winter Storm Warning issued January 21 at 3:52AM CST until January 21 at 6:00PM CST by NWS Houston/Galveston TX
* WHAT...Snow and sleet. Additional snow and sleet accumulations up
to 4 inches and ice accumulations around a light glaze. Wind gusts
up to 40 MPH.
* WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Texas.
* WHEN...Until 6 PM CST this evening.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road
conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the Tuesday
morning, Tuesday evening, and Wednesday morning commutes.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heavy bands of snow and sleet developing this
morning. Snowfall totals within these heavier bands could exceed 4
inches. Light totals expected outside of the bands. However,
significant travel disruptions are occurring even where lighter
