Description
REMINDER: Borough Sidewalks should be cleared of all snow within 24 hours after the snow has stopped.
Residents should have a clear path for safe walking on the sidewalks in the borough.
Non-compliance will result in fines to the property owner.
A reminder to property owners with NEW sidewalks installed this year, PLEASE do not use salt on the sidewalks. Products containing salt (chloride), magnesium chloride (Mag) or sodium chloride will react with the concrete and cause the new sidewalks to scale and delaminate.
Instead, please use kitty litter, sand, or barn grip to de-ice sidewalks.
