Description
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued December 31 at 3:09PM EST until December 31 at 3:30PM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 309 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles south of
Ligonier, or 14 miles southeast of Latrobe, moving northeast at 40
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and small hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Greensburg, Latrobe, McChesneytown-Loyalhanna, Youngwood, Derry,
Lawson Heights, New Stanton, Ligonier, Seven Springs,
Calumet-Norvelt, Youngstown, Laurel Mountain, Donegal, Champion,
Crabtree, Indian Head, Mill Run, Acme, Loyalhanna Gorge and Jones
Mills.
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds.
