A message from Waste Management...
Over the past couple of weeks, the Erie area has been hit with record-breaking snowfall that has resulted in WM needing to postpone service. We understand how frustrating this is, especially for customers who were impacted two weeks in a row. We plan to run a normal operating schedule during the week of December 9th. WM will collect all acceptable material at the curb during the resident’s normal collection day. We ask that customers please make sure that snow and ice have been cleared from around containers to allow our collection crews to safely provide service. Due to the snowfall amounts, some customers may be difficult to reach, and those customers will be contacted with additional recovery information. If changes to our recovery plan change, we will make sure to communicate those changes as soon as possible. The safety of our employees and the communities we serve is our top priority. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank our customers and communities for their continued cooperation.
