The following is a public service announcement for the Gulf Coast Auto Crimes Task Force:
"The Galveston County Sheriff's Office Auto Crimes Division is officially up and running to offer a FREE catalytic convertor etching service. This service will be available every Tuesday of the month by appointment only, starting on October 15, 2024. With this new service we hope to reduce the thefts and/or aid law enforcement agencies in criminal investigations, so call today to schedule your appointment or if you have any further questions."
