Description
Please see the attached Tropical Storm Francine update from the National Weather Service.
As discussed on our afternoon call, see the below current situation:
-Track line has shifted farther east by 15-20 miles
-The Tropical Storm Watch for the Texas Coast has been dropped
-Small Craft Advisory in effect through Wednesday afternoon, expect winds 25 to 30 mph with gusts to 35 mph
-Coastal Flood Warning in effect until Wednesday
-Still expect 1 to 3 feet of storm surge across entire Texas Coast south of High Island
-Gulf facing beaches will have high surf and wave run-up
-Rainfall still expected to be 2” to 4”
-TS Francine now forecast to make landfall as CAT 1 hurricane on the SE Louisiana coast Wednesday evening
