Wind Advisory issued September 10 at 5:23PM CDT until September 11 at 1:00PM CDT by NWS Houston/Galveston TX
* WHAT...Northeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 to 45 mph
expected along the coast.
* WHERE...Bolivar Peninsula, Brazoria Islands, Chambers, Coastal
Brazoria, Coastal Galveston, Coastal Matagorda, Galveston Island,
and Matagorda Islands Counties.
* WHEN...Until 1 PM CDT Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest wind gusts will be confined to
mainly the immediate coast, but occasional stronger gusts will be
possible further inland.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
