TROPICAL STORM FRANCINE UPDATE AS OF 5 PM – 09-09-2024
-This tropical depression is now Tropical Storm Francine
-Storm position and tack have shifted west. Tropical storm watches are in effect for the entire Texas Coast
-May become hurricane later tonight
-Tropical storm force winds are to be expected
-Storm surge is expected at 1-3 feet
-Rainfall is expected to be between 4-6 inches

We will continue to monitor the weather along with the Office of Emergency Management and advise of any changes or updates.
