Description
The Lincoln Borough Police Department is seeking applicants for a Part-Time Police Officers.
Candidates, at the time of application must (1) Possess a diploma from an accredited high school or a graduate equivalency diploma (GED); (2) Be Act 120 Certified under the Municipal Police Office Education and Training Act (120) (MPOETC); (3) Be a United States Citizen; (4) Be physically and mentally fit to perform full duties of a police officer; (5) Be at least twenty-one (21) years of age; and (6) Possess a valid Pennsylvania motor vehicle operator license
Applicants will also have to meet all requirements of State Act 57 and MPOETC.

Job Summary
As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining law and order, protecting members of the community, and enforcing regulations within a designated jurisdiction.
Duties
- Patrol assigned areas to deter crime and ensure public safety
- Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance as needed
- Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and interview witnesses
- Enforce traffic laws and issue citations when necessary
- Arrest suspects and participate in criminal investigations
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents and activities
- Provide support during community events and public gatherings
Experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills in high-pressure situations
- Proficient in report writing and documentation
- Knowledge of immigration law and criminal justice procedures is a plus
- Certification in First Aid, CPR, and Fire Arms
- Experience in driving emergency vehicles safely
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $20.96 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 32 per week
