The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will be in town today to conduct important testing of our water distribution system. As part of this process, random hydrant flushing and testing occur throughout the borough.
Please be aware that this activity may cause temporary discolored water. If you experience discolored water, we recommend running cold water from your tap until it clears.
This testing is a critical part of our ongoing efforts to ensure that our water supply remains safe and reliable for all residents and businesses. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation during this time.
