Description
Showers and thunderstorms producing very heavy rain this afternoon through Wednesday morning.
Total rainfall amounts will generally range from 1.5 to 2.5 inches with locally higher amounts
exceeding 5 inches. Areas of flash flooding are probable mainly for the urbanized portions of
New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. Hourly rainfall rates with the stronger showers and
storms will exceed 2 inches, and where this sets up will result in an increased risk for flash
flooding. A Flood Watch is in effect from 2PM Today through Wednesday morning. This includes all of
eastern PA and much of NJ.
