In accordance with the Borough Electric Ordinances, the Borough of Tarentum will be conducting a minor check of all electric meters. As part of this initiative, we will also be adding safety stickers to each meter.
Why is this important?
Ensuring that all electric meters are functioning correctly is crucial for the safety and reliability of our electric system. Properly functioning meters help prevent potential hazards, such as electrical fires and malfunctions, thereby protecting our community. The safety stickers will also provide essential information and reminders to ensure safe practices around electric meters.
What to Expect
Over the next few months, you may notice Borough staff members working around your property to carry out these tasks. Our team members will be identifiable by their official Borough uniforms.
