Excessive Heat Watch issued June 16 at 3:14PM EDT until June 22 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ

* WHAT...For the Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 100
expected. For the Excessive Heat Watch, dangerously hot conditions
with heat index values of 100 to 105 possible.

* WHERE...Portions of northern and northwest New Jersey and east
central, northeast, and southeast Pennsylvania.

* WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, from 10 AM Tuesday to 6 AM EDT
Wednesday. For the Excessive Heat Watch, from Wednesday morning
through Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events00.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A prolonged period of excessive heat with
high temperatures in the 90s is expected through this week. The
heat is forecast to worsen as the week goes on, with it peaking
late in the week and into the weekend. These early season heat
events combined with the prolonged nature of it may cause an
increase in heat related impacts such heat illnesses or on heat
sensitive infrastructure.

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
