Description
Pennsbury Village Borough is currently searching for a person to work in our office as a part-time Administrator for our Property Inspection Program.
If you or someone you know is looking for part-time administrative work, the Borough is accepting letters of interest for Property Inspection Coordinator.
Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; specifically, Word and Excel
- Detail oriented
- Flexibility
- Ability to work well independently and take initiative
- Residency is not a requirement. Applicant does not have to be a resident of Pennsbury Village
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehension of applicable Ordinances (#’s 138, 145, 159) and
associated requirements of these Ordinances
- Communication with interested parties (landlords, tenants, building inspector,
council members, tax authority) regarding property inspections
- Data entry and maintenance of digital and physical files of all landlord/tenant
information
- Timely collection and processing of landlord paperwork and payments; submission of payments to Borough
Manager for handling; issuance of rental licenses (certificates) to landlords in good standing
- Provide quarterly written status updates to Borough Council
- When necessary, provide backup for Borough Manager (if Manager out, fill in at the office to process
routine administrative duties (e.g. answering phones, retrieving mail/email, greeting residents, etc.))
