Flood Warning issued April 2 at 2:28PM EDT until April 2 at 8:30PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Westmoreland, Armstrong, Indiana and Jefferson Counties in
Pennsylvania.
* WHEN...Until 830 PM EDT Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Although
rainfall has ended for the next several hours, streams continue to
rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 225 PM EDT, gauge reports indicated flooding of creeks and
streams is imminent or ongoing, in addition to flooding of
urban and low-lying areas. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain was
reported earlier.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Monroeville, Greensburg, Indiana, Jeannette, Latrobe,
Punxsutawney, Kittanning, Homer City, Murrysville, North
Versailles, White Oak, McChesneytown-Loyalhanna, Blairsville,
Manor, Trafford, Ford City, Reynoldsville, Derry, Delmont and
Lawson Heights.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
