The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Snow Squall Warning for...
Southwestern Sussex County in northwestern New Jersey...
Northern Warren County in northwestern New Jersey...
Northeastern Carbon County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
Monroe County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
Northeastern Northampton County in eastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 245 PM EST.

* At 217 PM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located over Pocono
Pines, or near Mount Pocono, moving southeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Flash freeze on roads. Intense bursts of heavy snow and
gusty winds leading to blowing snow and rapidly falling
visibility. Wind gusts up to 35 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous
within minutes.

This includes the following highways...
Northeast Extension between mile markers 85 and 97.
Interstate 80 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 277 and 314.
Interstate 80 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 10.
Interstate 380 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 0 and 13.

Locations impacted include...
Mount Pocono, East Stroudsburg, Tobyhanna, Blairstown, Bangor, Pen
Argyl, Wind Gap, East Bangor, Stormville, Werry Lake, Pocono Pines,
Millbrook, Lake Harmony, Skytop, Tannersville, Long Pond,
Kresgeville, Sun Valley, Reeders, and Saylorsburg.

Wet roadways will quickly freeze. Black ice will cause roads,
bridges, and overpasses to become slick and dangerous. Slow down and
be prepared for a sudden loss of traction.

Slow Down! Rapid changes in visibility and road conditions are
expected with this dangerous snow squall. Be alert for sudden
whiteout conditions.
