Description
The Cumberland Township Authority is accepting applications for a full-time wastewater treatment plant operator. Applicant must be, at a minimum, a certified PA Class B, subclass 1 -4 Operator. A valid CDL B with air brakes endorsement or ability to obtain within one year of hire is required. Must be able to pass a background investigation including criminal, employment, driving, and credit history, a medical examination, and drug test.
Work involves, but is not limited to, the operation, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting of the wastewater facilities and associated pumping stations. Work is performed with considerable independence under the direction of the Operations Manager. 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, with some after-hours call-outs and rotating weekends.
