Description
ACTION Housing opened a second round of applications for the Whole Home Repairs Program. Funding is available to fix severe issues like damage to a home’s roof, windows, and foundation. Additionally, the funding can be used to make modifications so that someone managing a disability can live in the house.
To be considered in this phase, ACTION Housing requires all previous applicants to recertify their application. If an applicant needs help resetting their password, they can call ACTION Housing’s Help Desk at (412) 350-3457 #2.
To verify their income, recertifying applicants can include two months of current pay stubs, an award letter from the Social Security Office, a welfare office, or a letter from their employer.
Steel Rivers Council of Governments is happy to help our municipal members work with local residents to submit applications for consideration by ACTION Housing. SRCOG will have office hours to help residents complete their applications on Wednesdays from 1-4pm, starting on October 25 and ending on November 15. During this time, interested applicants can find us at 1705 Maple Street in Homestead.
Additionally, SRCOG will set up application intake centers in our member communities as follows:
Glassport Borough Building

October 31, 10am - 12pm
Clairton Municipal Building
551 Ravensburg Blvd, Clairton, PA 15025
November 7, 10am - 12pm
