Northeastern Northampton County in eastern Pennsylvania...
* Until 600 PM EDT.
* At 457 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Hope, or 15
miles southwest of Newton, moving north at 5 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is possible. Wind damage to
roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

East Stroudsburg, Blairstown, Belvidere, Hope, Columbia, Delaware
Water Gap, Allamuchy-Panther Valley, Stroudsburg, Portland, Hidden
Lake, Shawnee and Arlington Heights.

Interstate 80 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 312 and 314.
Interstate 80 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 18.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
In addition to large hail and damaging winds, frequent cloud to
ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Move indoors
immediately. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough
to be struck by lightning.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
