When: Friday afternoon, June 2 to Monday morning, June 5
Where: Dumpsters will be located on Pennsbury Blvd (near the former food truck site) and on Carriage Circle (in the 500 block).
This is an opportunity to discard larger items that you are not permitted to discard in the refuse dumpsters.
Prohibited items:
The following items are NOT permitted in the roll off dumpsters:
Any appliances containing freon gas (refrigerators, freezers, A/C units, dehumidifiers), all electronic devices (televisions, computer equipment), propane gas tanks, paint cans, (unless dried out with litter), any containers of chemicals or solvents, tires, and car batteries.
The Borough provides a special recycling service though Valley Waste Service for pickup of electronics, computers, televisions, and some hard to recycle items, directly from your home. Call Valley Waste at 1-724-843-9373 to arrange a pickup. For more information concerning this program, visit https://pennsburyvillageboro.com/services/refuse-pick-up/ . This service is in addition to your waste service provided by Valley Waste Service, and there is no additional cost for you to participate.
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING may be placed on the ground outside of the dumpster. If it doesn’t fit in the dumpster, or the dumpster is full and the door has been closed, it must go home with you. You will be fined for violating this rule.
