Northwestern Westmoreland County in southwestern Pennsylvania...
Southwestern Armstrong County in west central Pennsylvania...
* Until 845 PM EDT.
* At 812 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Emsworth, or
near Franklin Park, moving east at 55 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines, resulting in some
power outages.
* Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Ross Township, McCandless Township,
Monroeville, Moon Township, Franklin Park, Shaler Township, Plum,
Murrysville, Hampton Township, and Wilkinsburg.
This includes the following highways...
Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 39 and 55.
Interstate 79 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 63 and 72.
Parkway North between mile markers 2 and 13.
