Wind Chill Warning issued December 23 at 3:32PM EST until December 24 at 1:00PM EST by NWS Mount Holly NJ
* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, precipitation has
tapered to scattered lingering snow showers but the main concern
is icy conditions due to the re-freezing of wet surfaces as
temperatures continue to plummet. For the Wind Chill Warning,
dangerously cold wind chills. Wind chills as low as 25 below
zero.
* WHERE...Carbon and Monroe.
* WHEN...For the Wind Chill Warning, until 1 PM EST Saturday.
For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 6 PM EST this evening.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the evening commute. The cold wind
chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as
30 minutes.
Avoid outside activities if possible. When outside, make sure you
wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves.
Slow down and use caution while traveling.
