Winter Storm Warning issued December 14 at 3:23PM EST until December 16 at 7:00AM EST by NWS Mount Holly NJ
* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow
accumulations of 3 to 6 inches and ice accumulations of up to
one tenth of an inch. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.
* WHERE...Monroe.
* WHEN...From 10 AM Thursday to 7 AM EST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The greatest snow and ice amounts will
occur across the higher elevations of the Pocono Plateau.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
