Snow Squall Warning issued November 18 at 6:55PM EST until November 18 at 8:00PM EST by NWS Mount Holly NJ

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Snow Squall Warning for...
Carbon County in northeastern Pennsylvania...
Monroe County in northeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 800 PM EST.

* At 654 PM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line
extending from near Bear Creek Village to Seltzer, moving east at
40 mph.

HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow and gusty winds leading to
blowing snow and rapidly falling visibility. Wind gusts
up to 35 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous
within minutes.

This includes the following highways...
Northeast Extension between mile markers 72 and 97.
Interstate 80 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 277 and 314.
Interstate 80 in New Jersey near mile marker 0.
Interstate 380 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 0 and 13.

Locations impacted include...
Lehighton, Mount Pocono, East Stroudsburg, Tobyhanna, Palmerton, Jim
Thorpe, Nesquehoning, Wind Gap, Weatherly, Stormville, Werry Lake,
Pocono Pines, Lake Harmony, Skytop, Tannersville, Long Pond,
Kresgeville, Sun Valley, Reeders and Beltzville State Park.

Slow Down! Rapid changes in visibility and road conditions are
expected with this dangerous snow squall. Be alert for sudden
whiteout conditions.
