Starve a Vampire, Give Blood: Community Blood Bank Encourages Donors to Give Blood This October
Erie, PA – Community Blood Bank is getting into the Halloween spirit with its “Starve a Vampire, Give Blood” campaign, encouraging community members to celebrate the season by doing something that can make a lifesaving difference: donating blood. Throughout October, everyone who donates blood with Community Blood Bank will
receive a limited-edition “Drink Responsibly” blood donor T-shirt, while supplies last. The Halloween-themed shirt features a vampire holding a bag of blood with the message “Drink Responsibly. Donate Blood.” It offers donors a fun way to show their support for blood donation long after they leave the blood drive. “We wanted to have a little fun with Halloween while reminding people that there is a very real need for blood donors. One donation can make a lifesaving difference for patients in need,” said Brittiny Rafferty, Erie Mobile Drive Coordinator.
