Get ready to greet the longest day! Our adult summer reading program continues with a special Summer Solstice Hike through the beautiful South Park with our favorite local guide Sue Flaherty.
Join us as we celebrate the beginning of summer with a refreshing morning hike. As we walk, we’ll share reflections of summer memories of the park, its history while noticing the beauty of nature.
This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow hikers, enjoy the outdoors, and mark the summer solstice in a unique and meaningful way.
This is a moderate hike with hills and uneven trails. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, bring water, and perhaps bug spray. Let's celebrate the solstice and the joy of hiking together in the heart of nature.
We will meet at the Clock Building at the County Park Oval.
