Details
Turtle Creek's Fall Tree Planting will take place on Saturday, November 9th from 8a - 12 noon. Volunteers are needed for this bi-annual event. 15 trees have been provided to the borough by the Pennsylvania Conservancy and Tree Pittsburgh.
Please meet at the borough building, in the fire department area by the post office.
A light continental breakfast will be served.

There will be a brief demonstration of proper tree planting and care after breakfast.
Volunteers will then disperse to the planting locations, and help to place the trees into the prepared holes.
Tools will be provided by The Pennsylvania Conservancy and Tree Pittsburgh.
Additionally, a light lunch will be served at the conclusion of the tree planting.
