Details
Adults are invited to listen to Local Author Ed Bonner discuss his book "Historical Madness" at South Park Library.

"Historical Madness" is an eclectic collection of mysteries, oddities, and haunting stories within Western Pennsylvania, neighboring West Virginia, and the Great Lakes. Some stories may be known to local readers in part, while others are unknown. Ed enjoys revealing these stories to the reader. Stories that have been explored include the writing of a young boy who was electrocuted, he was called Green Man, to a group of miners that clashed with local law enforcement over union representation. A story about the life of Lobster Boy, who was a murderer. Ed also wrote about Madame Maria Curie, who discovered Radium and Polonium. She secretly used a local factory to explore uranium, which impacted a local community years later.
