South Park Township and Tri Community Anglers Association are once again holding the annual Fall Creek Clean-Up event on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. to remove accumulated litter and debris along Peters Creek.
Volunteers are needed to assist with the clean-up project. Anyone who has an interest in participating is asked to meet in the small parking lot located at the intersection of Snowden Road and Piney Fork Road. Plastic bags, gloves, and vests will be provided. It is recommended that all volunteers dress accordingly for the weather and wear boots since the scope of the work will involve both sides of the creek.
All bags and picked up materials should be placed next to the guide rail in the Snowden parking lot or along the roadway curb. They will be collected by South Park Township Public Works Department the following Monday. Thank you to all the participants past and present!
