Greetings friends and neighbors!!
Please save the date for Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 8:30am - 12:00pm for the next Save Our Parks Japanese Knotweed Eradication Project Year 3. We meet at the Main Park at Braddock and Ardmore.
We have been making great strides on removing invasive Japanese Knotweed without the use of pesticides or herbicides. Japanese Knotweed is overtaking Forest Hills Parks and residents' properties at an alarming rate. Come and learn how to eradicate this invasive plant that is taking habitat away from native plants that provide food and shelter for our bees, birds and butterflies!
Hand clippers and loppers, gloves and water will be provided on a limited basis. If you have your own tools please bring them along. Looking forward to seeing you all!!
If you have any questions please contact Barb Martin at martin@foresthillspa.com.
