Gettysburg Green Gathering is sponsoring an Earth Day – Work Day.
8-9:30am – We will be picking up trash along Taneytown Road from the intersection of Steinwehr Ave and Taneytown Rd to Blacksmith Shop Tavern Road – meet at the battlefield parking lot located on Taneytown Road across from the National Cemetary
10-12:00pm – This is a day to get your hands dirty to help our local environment while having kid-friendly presentations from Strawberry Hill Nature Preserve, a Workshop for Meadow Garden planting, Environmental Journaling, and we will be doing tree plantings and maintenance at the Gettysburg Rec Park, Pollinator Garden Maintenance, Live Music and Refreshments to be provided!
